It must have something to do with my childhood, but I am constantly craving macaroni and cheese! Truly delicious… I decided to look up an interesting recipe for gourmet macaroni and cheese on my iPhone to impress friends of mine at a dinner party. Everyone likes comfort foods, so I decided to make it even more fun, and I texted everyone on my iPhone to bring a fancy version of their favorite comfort dish. I guess you could say that this idea was breaking out a little bit of the Top Chef in me because it sounds like one of their challenges.
I have to tell anyone out there that has not yet tried gourmet macaroni and cheese that it is absolutely addicting! There are a number of different ways to make it, but why not get even more fancy and use different cheeses that you may not have ever tried before? You can also use different types of macaroni pasta, like whole grain, spinach pasta, or even pasta that is gluten free. I ended up finding a wealth of recipes in an iPhone app, and I went for a richer taste in a mixture of Romano, Gorgonzola, and Mozzarella cheeses. Mmm…

With the new iPad coming onto the market, it seems that Amazon and Apple could easily become enemies. Of course, Amazon already sells a device similar to read books with called the Kindle. This has been the quickest and hottest way for people to take advantage of reading e-books, especially since the screen of the iPhone is so small and difficult to use to read downloadable PDFs.
It seems that this new netbook is a larger version of the iPod touch, and it runs around $500. Apple itself is not a fan of netbooks, but this is yet another version of a device for personal use. It is not supposed to work as a replacement for the iPod or iPhone, but it is supposed to be a cross breed of a device similar to a laptop that has a large enough screen to enjoy books on. It seems to be directly related to the Kindle to be used for chilling at home, reading in bed, or reading on an airplane. If you are already a fan of your iPhone, then you may want to try this device, but make sure that you have some iPad repair site on hand to help you out if the big screen cracks!

Even though I may not seem like the type, I like to do a little bit of casual shopping on my iPhone. Lately, one of my areas of interest has been in finding unique items to add to my home. One of the coolest that I have found so far in surfing for interesting items to buy on my iPhone is the bloody lamp. This is a distinctive design that looks like blood is spilling out of the lamp in the form of an overturned bucket. This is something that will definitely catch people off guard when they come to your home, and it will also work as a great conversation piece.
I don’t know why it intrigues me, but I am just the type of person that likes something a little different than the norm, and this is something that you cannot find at Target. It is a pretty expensive lamp because it is a new design from Japan, and it costs over $200. It has two different styles available, and it can be put on a tabletop, or even mounted on the wall. At the very least, check out this interesting piece as a gift for someone special in your life who will appreciate something one-of-a-kind!

Your body is quite an interesting instrument, and I’m sure you know by now what kind of strange things that you can do to stop the hiccups. I decided to take things a step further and look up interesting body tricks on my iPhone that may actually surprise you.
First of all, if you are absolutely petrified of needles, try coughing when you are getting a shot. This is something that will cause a rise to the pressure in your chest that can inhibit pain. Next on the list, if you have a stuffed up nose, then you can easily relieve this pressure by thrusting your tongue toward the roof of your mouth, and then pressing one finger between your eyebrows. Alternate these motions, and it will cause the congestion to loosen in no time!
If you happen to be feeling dizzy from drinking too much, put your hand on a stable object. This will help you to balance out, and since your hand is full of nerves, it will dispel the dizziness more quickly. Lastly, if you are someone who gets a side stitch when you are running, then exhale when your left foot hits the ground, and it will relieve this issue right away! Tricky…

I have to admit that I am one of the first people to constantly get on Facebook through my iPhone, and why wouldn’t I be? Pretty much all of my friends and family will update their Facebook profiles directly from their iPhones, especially since it is such a convenient way to stay connected and up to date. Still, one recent study is suggesting that adolescent girls may have depression caused by using Facebook too often.
There was a study done on 83 girls who were around the age of 13, and they found that the girls who spend more time on this social media site had higher levels of depression. The theory goes that all of this social media interaction, like texting and instant messaging, makes it easy for teens to have high anxiety and depression. I guess the moral of the story is to use Facebook in moderation, and don’t substitute it for real people in your life. Social media is a wonderful thing, and it provides the opportunity to connect with people all over the world. On the flipside, it also poses the risk of not truly connecting with the people that you see every day if you are using it too often.

I had the luxury of going on a fall vacation, and I was feeling pretty good because my main concern was not getting too sunburned. Of course, if any of my coworkers heard me say that, they would absolutely kill me since they were back at the office working so hard. I had a little plan in place. I can tan pretty well, but I am still a pretty pale person. I decided that I would apply sunblock every hour to make sure that I didn’t get completely crispy. I also would listen to a certain amount of songs on my iPod, like 10 songs, so I would remember when to apply sunblock.
If you are someone who loves sitting in the sun and listening to your iPod, then you are going to absolutely love this little trick. Either set the timer on your iPhone, or listen to a certain amount of songs on your iPhone or iPod, and then you can remember to apply sunblock so that you don’t get sunburned. The only catch to this is that you can’t fall asleep because that would ruin the plan completely. This is pretty much the only thing that you have to worry about when you’re relaxing in the sun on your vacation!

Oh, the addiction of having an iPhone! I promise you that everywhere I go, I see people all over the place on their iPhones. No matter what you are using it for – shopping, gadget reboot, or even Facebook, it is a very popular device. I have to admit that I was at first very reluctant to turn to the dark side and start using an iPhone. I did have a contract with AT&T, so it was readily available to me. I guess I just wanted to be that person that stays in the past and uses my regular old cell phone.
I was kind of thinking that the iPhone was probably not as cool as it was hyped up to be, but I was wrong. It was much better! I was just thinking that Apple was cleverly creating all of these commercials to seduce us into buying this device, but it really is an awesome and amazing device. I use it for all sorts of things, but most of the time, I just dawdle on my iPhone and obsess over Facebook. Maybe that is actually a bad thing, and one reason why I should not have gotten this device, but now it’s too late!

If rumors are true, there could be some pretty interesting news coming up in the world. Apple may soon be releasing an FM radio app for the iPod touch and the iPhone. It will also work for current models, so it will not require anything new on your part. Apple is potentially planning on using the FM transceiver that is already within the devices to create this FM radio application.
If you love listening to the radio, then this may be right up your alley. Of course, you do have to have an iPod touch or iPhone to get this radio application. However, this will also mean that there is not anything that your iPod touch or iPhone cannot do! Of course, you can already listen to your entire musical playlist on your device, but some people still like the novelty of the radio. In fact, if you’re someone who likes to listen to the news or talk radio on the radio, then this will be even more convenient for you. Keep your ears open for this new app being potentially introduced by Apple, even though it is just a rumor at this point. For everyone’s sake, we can only hope that it is true!

I have been drinking green tea for quite some time, but I was recently reading a post online on my iPhone that was talking about the health benefits of coffee drinking. I had always been under the impression that drinking coffee was very bad for you, and many people said that it would even stunt your growth. I have always really liked coffee, but like I said, I decided to switch to green tea because it is full of antioxidants and has health benefits.
What I ended up reading on this blog post on my iPhone was pretty interesting because it was talking about how coffee is full of antioxidants as well, and also how it is becoming a leading health drink. Coffee is the most popular drink in America, and it actually has quite a few health benefits that have been recently discovered. According to this blog post, coffee has the ability to reduce the risk for stroke, diabetes, and even cirrhosis of the liver. That means that if you drink alcohol moderately, it’s also good to drink coffee because it can reduce your risk for liver cancer or liver damage. This is great news for me because now I am going to switch back to my daily cup of Joe!
