My Lego Obsession

lego-obsession

There is nothing like wrapping things up at the end of a long day with a fun hour or two snapping legos together.
My current Lego obsession is with Star Wars ships and walkers.  I have an AT-TE made out of thick paper as a guide, and am designing an AT-TE SE (the SE is for ‘Special Edition’ haha).  I am creating it from the feet up and spent two evenings just on the feet and legs.
I know, I know, I should have been done by now, but I just want to take my time on this one and make it really cool.  Maybe I will take a picture of it and post it here.
Much better picture that this crazy Lego one that I put up here, huh!
Well, that’s it for now.  Back to a broken iPhone 4 – yeah, cracked screen just a few days after it came out.  Have to say fixing iPhone 4 screens is a lot easier than iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS.
Cheers!

Save Money on Your Pedicure

by Brent on June 18, 2010

The summer is upon us, which means that it is the season for a gorgeous pedicure. I actually have an app on my iPhone that helps me to find salons in my area, but I was thinking that maybe I could try to do it myself at home. For this reason, I have decided to provide some helpful tips for an at-home pedicure:
pedicure• Fill up your bathtub with warm water and sea salt, and soak your feet for five minutes.
• Cut your toenails straight across, and round the edges with a file.
• Scrub your feet and calves with an exfoliating scrub in circular motions for several minutes to remove dead skin.
• Use a callous softening product with a nonabrasive exfoliant to smooth out the bottom of your feet. Scrub for several minutes until they feel smooth to the touch.
• Rinse and dry your feet, and apply cuticle oil to minimize hangnails.
• Apply your color of choice, such as something bold and bright for the summer season.
• If you are looking for something more subtle, go for a light orange or poppy to complement your skin tone.
• Finish the at-home pedi by adding a top coat to set the polish in place.
Voilà! Don’t you feel like a million bucks?
