If you are ever in the unfortunate position of losing your wallet, then there is a simple thing that you can do to make sure that it is always returned to you safely. Apparently, all you have to do is appeal to the heart of the passerby so that they will take the time to return your wallet to the authorities, instead of simply pocketing it. It is so easy to rummage through your purse, backpack, or pocket, only to find that you have dropped your wallet en route, which can be especially tricky on a busy city street.
There was a study done that showed various wallets dropped on the street with different items placed inside of them, and the wallet that was returned the most often was a wallet that had a baby picture inside in a clear picture holder. If you don’t have a child of your own, then maybe you want to put baby picture of yourself, your niece or nephew, or a friend’s child? Either way, planting this type of adorable baby picture so obviously inside of your wallet makes for a more sentimental pick up and delivery straight back to the police station. Score for you!
