I am an avid workout freak, but I have to confess that I often times get tired of doing the same workouts over and over again. That was why I decided to download the yoga app on my iPhone, which gave me helpful options in creating my own yoga series based on the poses that I selected. This is something fun that I can use when I’m watching TV or listening to relaxing music, and it allows me to be my own personal yoga instructor.
For instance, if I am looking for something to promote flexibility, I can create soothing flows of yoga poses that are easy to do. If I want a little bit more of a workout with upper body strength, I can choose the more difficult yoga poses, like plank or downward dog. For anyone who is a yoga fan or simply interested in trying something new to mix up their workout, this is a fun alternative that you can do at home. I have to confess that one of my greatest advantages to this is in those times when I really don’t want to drive to the gym, but it still gives me enough motivation to continue to work out.
