It will also work for current models, so it will not require anything new on your part. Apple is potentially planning on using the FM transceiver that is already within the devices to create this FM radio application.

However, this will also mean that there is not anything that your iPod touch or iPhone cannot do! Of course, you can already listen to your entire musical playlist on your device, but some people still like the novelty of the radio.
